Durham, N.C.-Based Pharmaceutical to Make AIDS Drug Easier to Find.

Apr. 15--DURHAM, N.C. -- Trimeris and and its corporate partner will soon make Fuzeon available through retail and specialty pharmacies to boost lackluster sales of the AIDS drug.

Starting April 26, patients can fill prescriptions for Fuzeon along with other AIDS drugs at CVS, Eckerd or other pharmacies. Previously, patients could get the drug only by having their physician fax a prescription to a mail-order distributor.
