Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s first design-oriented home store opened its doors to the Denver market on Feb 7, 1998. Aptly named 'The Great Indoors,' the store both features products found in kitchen and bath specialty stores and those sold in other home and decorating showrooms, thus, offering the most comprehensive one-step shopping experience for women who are into decorating and remodeling their homes. The Great Indoors also has house designers and a 3-D computer software, ModaVISION to assist customers in designing and visualizing their projects.
