10 Overseas Retailer Pacing up in Opening Outlets in Beijing

BEIJING, May 21, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- General Manager of Ikea (China) Co. Ltd. Lan Duffy and that of Beijing Taide Leasing Co. Ltd. Wei Dakuang inked agreements in Beijing Hotel on cooperative project of 'Ikea Wangjing' department store. Ikea will invest US$ 60 million in building a 30,000-square meter Ikea Store in Wangjing area in Beijing, which is the second Ikea store in Beijing.
