Feb. 15--Kofi and Yvette Moyo hit a nerve when they held the first Real Men Cook event in Chicago 15 years ago.
The goal was to highlight African-American men as productive community members, seeking to counter negative images on the evening news.
The now-annual event, held on Father's Day, has included a range of celebrities, from politician Jesse Jackson to former NBA star Dominique Wilkins, and has raised $800,000 for charities. Last year, the event attracted 30,000 people
