Best Buy Extends Weekend Store Hours.

Feb. 17--Next time you've got a hankering for a big screen TV at 9:15 on a Saturday night, Best Buy hopes you'll think of them.

Richfield-based Best Buy Co. said Monday most of its 600 consumer electronics stores across the nation will stay open one hour later on Saturdays and Sundays. That means until 10 p.m. Saturdays, 7 p.m. Sundays.

Best Buy it decided to extend its weekend hours after analyzing when consumer purchases occur, a company spokesman said.
