Sep. 8--NORFOLK, Va.--Geneva Randolph did one of those freshman double-takes shortly after she arrived at Norfolk State University this semester.
No, it wasn't about her roommate's sleeping habits, the college food or the homework assignments. It was the cost of her textbooks.
Randolph's total came to $480. Her anatomy book alone topped $130, she said.
