SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1998--Solana Technology Development Corp. today announced that Enso(SM) Audio Imaging Corp. has signed a license agreement to use the company's Electronic DNA(R) audio watermarking technology.
Enso will implement Electronic DNA to protect music
The announcement was made in conjunction with the start of the Intel New York Music Festival and Jupiter Communications Plug.In '98 New Music Meets New Technology Conference.
Audio watermarking has emerged as the premier technology solution for music copyright owners to protect and track usage of their material. By incorporating both Electronic DNA and encryption, Enso now offers its customers the combined benefit of both technologies, providing optimum protection of copyright material.
"The Electronic DNA technology will allow us to further ensure that the content we provide to both on-line and physical retailers is only used in these specific settings to facilitate the sale of music," stated Erika Leber, vice president of sales and marketing for Enso.
"We are extremely pleased that Enso has chosen Electronic DNA over other audio watermarking solutions," said Greg Hampton, director of business development for Solana Technology Development Corp. "By licensing Electronic DNA, Enso is further enhancing its commitment to protect music copyrights."
