PetSmart Names SVP Store Operations, Services
PetSmart Inc., Phoenix, is combining its store operations and services organizations under the leadership of a new senior vice president, David Lenhardt. Lenhardt, senior vice president of services, was appointed senior vice president of store operations and services, effective Feb. 1, 2007. Lenhardt
will succeed Barbara Fitzgerald, senior vice president store operations, who led strategic initiatives, including the Eagle store format. Fitzgerald, whose planned retirement is June 2007, will work with Lenhardt on the transition. Lenhardt led the team that developed PetSmart PetsHotels and Doggie Day Camp concepts, and has been with the company since 2000.
