Daytime Dining Restaurant Hits D.C. Market
First Watch Restaurants Inc., Bradenton, Fla., a company specializing in daytime dining with breakfast, brunch and lunch prepared to order, plans to develop more than 15 restaurants in the Washington, D.C. market. The company will open its initial location around Aug. 28 in Fairfax, Va. at Fair City
Mall. Later this year a second restaurant will open in Baltimore, Md., with locations following in Herndon, Va. and Rockville, Md. in 2007. "We expect First Watch to thrive in this sophisticated area," said Ken Pendery, president and CEO of the company. Currently, First Watch operates 61 restaurants in Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
