Apple, Coach among retailers recognized at ICSC's retailer awards
Apple, Coach, White House/Black Market, Williams-Sonoma and Steve & Barry's were recognized at ICSC's (International Council of Shopping Centers) hot retailer awards, presented at its Spring Convention in Las Vegas. The survey, conducted by ICSC, was based on 3,126 mall managers and marketing directors
in the United States and Canada. Some of the comments professionals made about the winners, as reported by ICSC, include the following: "Williams-Sonoma has reinvented the customer experience in purchasing housewares" (Patrick Connolly) and "The exposure Apple is getting right now--you can't pay for that kind of press" (Colleen Pillus).
