Kroger's Pichler retiring

Joseph Pichler, chairman of The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati), has announced that he will retire on June 24, 2004. Pichler has served as chairman and CEO of Kroger from 1990 until 2003, when CEO David Dillon was appointed. Dillon is expected to be elected to fill Pichler's position
