CVS to remodel 1,352 stores
Drugstore chain CVS Corp., Woonsocket, R.I., has hired Davaco, a Dallas-based retail sourcing service, to survey and coordinate plans to remodel 1,352 of its stores. In an effort to improve the frequency of customer-to-pharmacy interaction, the retailer has updated its pharmacy layout to increase the
response rate to customer need. Davaco has been commissioned to complete site surveys for the locations to be remodeled, coordinate distribution, offer consolidation points and manage subcontractors. Approximately 50 store remodels are expected to occur each week in order for the program to be completed on time and within budget.
