Starbucks' Q4 revenues hit $1 billion
Seattle-based Starbucks Corp., the No. 1 U.S. specialty coffee retailer, has reported its consolidated net revenues for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 29 reached the $1 billion mark. The chain also reported same-store sales for the quarter increased 9 percent from the year-ago period. The company opened
115 new company-operated Starbucks stores in North America, as well as 74 new licensed stores. Internationally, the firm opened 18 new company-operated stores and 100 licensed stores, bringing the worldwide company total to 6,193 Starbucks units.
