Estee Lauder closing Tommy shops
The Estee Lauder Cos. is undertaking a restructuring program that will include closing 86 of the 170 Tommy Hilfiger fragrance shops that it operates in the United States. The New York-based cosmetics company announced that it will focus on its most productive Tommy stores and close the under performing
ones. Estee Lauder is also changing the display technique for its Jane cosmetics from traditional wall displays to a carded program.
