Hard rock act Mudvayne will unveil material from its next Epic album, "Lost and Found," on its upcoming North American tour. The trek begins Jan. 29 in Sacramento, Calif., and wraps Feb. 17 at New York's venerable CBGBs, while the album is due out in early April.
"As a band, it's important to remain focused on your roots and remember the people who supported you during the early struggles," says lead vocalist Chad Gray. "With that in mind, we're going to show our core of diehard fans and friends our appreciation by returning to the venues where we started and giving them a preview of some new songs from our upcoming album."
The set will find the group dispensing with its standard makeup and pseudonyms. "We're not apologizing for it or even saying that we won't wear it again in the future," says drummer Matt McDonough." But right now, this is how we're expressing ourselves."

A dozen passengers planning to sail on Jam Cruise 3 last weekend instead found themselves in trouble with the law. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection drug dog in Jacksonville, Fla., discovered the individuals were in possession of numerous illegal substances, including marijuana and ecstasy, according to Jacksonville, Fla.'s First Coast News.
Among those arrested was Steven M. Beatty, a sound technician with the musicians/artists collective Sound Tribe Sector 9, which was performing on the cruise. Jam Cruise 3 took place on the Celebrity ship Celebration, which sailed Thursday from Jacksonville and visited Freeport, Bahamas, along with spending two days at sea.
