The 12 third season "American Idol" finalists share the spotlight on "Greatest Soul Classics," due April 27 via RCA Records. The set is the latest in a series of releases stemming from the "Idol" franchise, including two prior compilations and the smash hit debut albums from Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken

and Ruben Studdard.

"Greatest Soul Classics" finds contestants covering favorites from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Billy Paul, Smokey Robinson, the Stylistics and Gladys Knight and the Pips, among others. The finalists also team up to cover the Ashford/Simpson-penned "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," a hit for Gaye and the late Tammi Terrell as well as Diana Ross.
