Canadian rock trio Rush has confirmed 10 West Coast dates for the second leg of its North American tour. The additional stateside run in support of the forthcoming Anthem/Atlantic album "Vapor Trails," will launch Sept. 14 in George, Wash. As previously reported

, the tour will kick off June 28 in Hartford, Conn., with the first leg slated to close Aug. 21 in Albuquerque, N.M. The new dates extend through a Sept. 28 show in Irvine, Calif.

Due May 14, "Vapor Trails" is the band's 17th studio album, and the tour is Rush's first since going off the road in July 1997. In the interim, the band has been on hiatus following the tragic unrelated deaths of drummer/chief lyricist Neil Peart's daughter and wife. "One Little Victory," the new album's lead single, is a reflection of that time.

"The way the song turned out," bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee recently told Billboard, "there's so many kind of symbolic things about that song that relate to our condition that it seemed really appropriate to come out with that first."

So far, "One Little Victory" has received an enthusiastic reception at U.S. radio outlets, propelling the title's 22-15 jump this week on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Here are the dates for the second leg of Rush's North American tour:
