April 18, 1998, has been designated Athens Music Day. Three blocks of downtown Athens, Ga., will be blocked off so Widespread Panic can host the "World's Largest Album Release Party" to celebrate its new Capricorn album "Light Fuse ... Get Away," a double-live CD. Panic will perform three sets, and fans
from all across the U.S. are expected to attend. Widespread Panic's last set, 1997's "Bombs & Butterflies," peaked at No. 50 on The Billboard 200.
