Singer/songwriter Mann Readies Second Set
Billy Mann, who penned two songs on Celine Dion's "Let's Talk About Love" set, will release his second solo album, "Earthbound," May 12 on DV8/A&M. Singer/songwriter Carole King appears on three of the album's tracks, contributing piano vocals to "What Have I Got To Lose?" and backing vocals to "Numb
Heart" and "Mary On My Mind." Mann's self-titled debut, which blended rock, R&B, and pop sensibilities, received comparisons to sets by Babyface, a young Billy Joel, and Harry Chapin, among others.
