Country Stars Rise To Softball Challenge

Clint Black, Bryan White, and LeAnn Rimes are among the country stars already committed to play in the 8th annual Wrangler/City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge. To be held June 14 at Greer Stadium in Nashville, the event has also enlisted artists Neal McCoy, Deana Carter, Diamond Rio, Chely Wright, Rhett Akins, Michael Peterson, Kevin Sharp, Rick Trevino, Victoria Shaw, Amy Grant, and Gary Chapman for the roster. The six-inning game marks the unofficial start of Fan Fair Week in Nashville. More than $1 million has been raised by the games to support the City of Hope National Medical Center and the Beckman Research Institute. Proceeds from the Challenge also go to The Spirit of Life Endowment Fund for Middle Tennesseans who need the care and treatment provided by City of Hope.
