Rap superstar Nelly and his group the St. Lunatics are set to launch a 25-city Up Close & Personal tour July 10 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Venues tour will be considerably scaled down compared to those of Nelly's recent tours; the music halls and theaters on the outing will average 3,200 capacity.

The group will use the tour as a coming-out party for St. Lunatics member Murphy Lee, whose solo debut, "Murphy's Law" will be released in September on Nelly's new Derrty Entertainment label, with distribution through Universal Records.

Only 10 dates have been confirmed so far for the Up Close & Personal tour. The largest of the confirmed venues is New York's 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall. The remaining dates are expected soon.

In related news, Lee, Nelly and P. Diddy will perform "Shake Ya Tail Feather," tomorrow night (July 25) on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The track is the first single from "Murphy's Law," which, as previously reported, will also appear on the Bad Boy soundtrack to "Bad Boys 2."
