Wyclef, Monica,'n Sync To Perform At Aids Benefit

'N Sync, Destiny's Child, Wyclef Jean, and Monica will be among the performers at a World AIDS Day benefit concert Dec. 1 at the Beacon Theater in New York. The event, which will raise money for LIFEbeat, the music industry's charity to fight AIDS, will be sponsored by Levi's.

The

concert will be webcast live on the Levi web site. Levi's will donate $1 to LIFEbeat for every person who logs on to the webcast.

Also on the site, consumers will be able to take an HIV prevention quiz that automatically registers them to win original signed memorabilia from such leading musical artists as Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, 'N Sync, and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Both BMG Entertainment president/CEO Strauss Zelnick and Davis were in Europe and could not be reached for comment.

A two-hour special feting Davis' silver anniversary with the label, "Arista's 25 Years Of #1 Hits," is scheduled to air next spring on NBC.
