Kelly Price Readies Slew Of Projects
Fans are going to be hearing a lot from Kelly Price in the coming months. The R&B songstress has co-written and recorded a duet with crooner Gerald Levert for the latter's upcoming Elektra album, as well as cut a version of Aretha Franklin's ballad "Ain't No Way" for the soundtrack to the adaptation
of inspirational guru Iyanla Vanzant's best seller "In The Meantime."
Price is also in the writing and pre-production stages for her next album, which she hopes to start recording in late summer/early fall. Plus, it looks like Price may be eyeing the big screen. While in L.A., "there were a couple of scripts for me to look over," she says.
Price's debut, "Soul Of A Woman" (T-Neck/Island), peaked at No. 2 on Top R&B Albums.
