Puffy Apologizes, Court Date Pushed Back

Bad Boy Entertainment mogul Sean "Puffy" Combs has publicly apologized for allegedly participating in an assault against Interscope Records executive Steve Stoute. Combs, who was arrested for the incident April 16 and is free on bail, had been scheduled to appear yesterday in New York Criminal Court;

however, the case was adjourned to Aug. 5.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Combs has said, "I'm extremely sorry for what I did ... It's nobody's fault but my own." Sources close to Combs say he is in "ongoing negotiations" to reach a financial settlement with Stoute.
