Aretha Franklin, Snoop Dogg, and Brian McKnight are among the performers who will take part in the third annual "Soul Train" Christmas Starfest. Taping Monday (Nov. 20) at the Santa Monica (Calif.) Civic Auditorium, the show will feature top R&B artists performing holiday favorites.
"Soul Train" host Shemar Moore will share his duties with Smokey Robinson and Yolanda Adams. Other performers will include Lou Rawls, Boyz II Men, Monica, Rachelle Ferrell, Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne, and Donnie McClurkin, as well as several surprise guests.
Past Christmas Starfest shows have featured Patti LaBelle, Mary J. Blige, McKnight, Dru Hill, Natalie Cole, and Chaka Khan.
The syndicated program will air Dec. 2-17 nationally. Check local listings exact dates and channels.
