Billboard Bits: No Doubt, Nashville Pussy, Jess Klein

No Doubt has announced the first 10 dates of a U.S. tour in support of "Return Of Saturn," the California pop group's first album in more than four years. The disc is set for an April 11 release by Interscope.

The jaunt is set to kick off March 24 in Chicago and wrap

April 15 in San Francisco. More dates are expected to be announced in the near future. First single "Ex-Girlfriend" is No. 8 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart this week.

Infamous trash rockers Nashville Pussy have inked a deal with TVT Records. The band, nominated for a Grammy last year for its Amphetamine Reptile/Mercury album "Let Them Eat Pussy," will release its TVT debut, "High As Hell" later this spring. A full U.S. tour is planned for May.

Rykodisc has signed Massachusetts-based singer/songwriter Jess Klein to its Slow River imprint. Klein's debut album, recently recorded with Paul Kolderie (Radiohead's "OK Computer") behind the mixing board, is set for a fall 2000 release. Klein is currently up for outstanding female singer/songwriter honors at the Boston Music Awards.
