Pearl Jam has announced a 26-date European tour, set to kick off May 23 in Lisbon, Portugal, and conclude July 2 in Brussels. The mega-selling Seattle rock band will be supporting its as-yet-untitled sixth studio album for Epic, which is scheduled for a late spring release. Pearl Jam has not toured widely
in Europe since 1996.
The tour includes stops at London's Wembley Arena on May 29, the Rock Am Ring festival in Cologne, Germany, on June 9, the Pink Pop festival in Maastrick, Holland, on June 12, and a previously announced date at the Roskilde festival in Copenhagen on June 30.
Pearl Jam has played at several of these festivals before, including an infamous gig at Roskilde in 1992, during which the band scuffled with security after lead singer Eddie Vedder jumped into the audience.
