Third Spitfire Tour To Visit 20 College Campuses
The Spitfire Tour will return for a third installment, kicking off March 9 in Portland, Ore., and continuing to 19 other U.S. college campuses. The event features spoken word presentations from musicians and activists on a variety of social and political issues. Among those who will participate at various
tour stops are Indigo Girls, former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, Spearhead's Michael Franti, and actors Woody Harrelson, Rosie Perez, and Andy Dick.
The Indigo Girls will play a special acoustic set at a May 12 concert at the University Of Cincinnati. Additional dates and speakers will be announced in the near future.
