Ed Kashi and Brian Storm drew attention and acclaim for the "Iraqi Kurdistan" multimedia story that debuted recently on MSNBC. (Read our story on the presentation, or watch it here.)

After PDN wrote about the project, we began hearing from readers who directed us to other flip-book-like multimedia presentations. Kashi's work is the most ambitious so far, but plenty of other pieces have used still photographs in a kind of stop-motion animation.

Love 'em or hate 'em, here are links to more multimedia pieces that use the "flip book" technique in at least some scenes. (Some may require the Flash player or other browser software to play.)
