Ann Arbor, Michigan, ? JOBO Fototechnic announces the new #1565 Stainless Uni-Reel 35 from Hewes that's designed to work in JOBO 1500 series tanks. Most darkroom enthusiasts have
a stong preference toward either plastic or stainless steel reels. The stainless steel reel that has been available from JOBO, the #1555, requires a special center core for use with the plastic tanks. Using this configuration limited the use to processing on a rotary processor, or using the reel in a stainless steel tank - that leaks. What makes this new reel so special is the ability to use the exsisting plastic center core provided with any 1500 series tank. Now hand inversion processing in a plastic, leak-proof tank using a stainless steel reel is possible!
