Creo announced the new 22Wi and 17Wi--two medium format camera backs with integrated wireless connectivity. The 22 and 17 megapixel backs (respectively) offer the same features as the company's other backs, but use Bluetooth to communicate wirelessly between the Leaf backs and the Leaf DP-67. The DP-67

is a HP iPAQ handheld used as a viewfinder and image browser for the Leaf backs.

Previous versions of the Leaf back have worked with the HP iPAQ via a tether cable. The new version will allow the handheld to be used up to 13 feet away and still check focus, set camera features, and more.

Leaf's Valeo backs capture images at 1.2 seconds/frame in a 3:4 format using a 16-bit A/D converter resulting in files over 300MB.

Special offers are available for the purchase of the Leaf Valeo 22Wi and Leaf Valeo 17Wi systems. For more details visit creo.com or contact a Leaf representative.
