APA Elects New Officers

Advertising Photographers of America (APA) recently elected new officers. Award-winning photographer George Fulton is the new president.

Fulton is the moderator of APAnet, the organization's listserve, and recently won a Gold Addy for still photography, presented in

Miami by the American Advertising Federation.

In a statement, the organization says "APA is pleased to have George step into our national leadership position, and we look forward to APA's continued visibility in advocacy, copyright retention, business practices and standards issues, as it continues to contribute to a healthy business climate for its members and the creative imaging industry throughout."

Other incoming national officers include vice presidents Tim Olive and Will Mosgrove, treasurer Joel Silverman and secretary Mark McKinnon.
