Agency Vu Wins For Humanitarian Reporting

Photographer Ad Van Denderen from the Paris-based Vu agency won the grand prize in the 6th CARE International Humanitarian Reporting. He photographed refugees, immigrants and their plight in Europe. Isabelle Eshraghi also won a "Fiacre" award for her project on men and women in Iran, which has been widely

exhibited since the start of this year. The "Dick Scherpenzeel Prize" ? the most important journalism award in Holland ? was given to Kadir van Lohuizen for his work in Sierra Leone.
