Several vintage silver prints from the Renee Perle Collection of photographs by Jacques-Henri Lartigue recently fetched high prices at Tajan in Paris, reports ARTnewsletter. Etude Tajan is a leading auction house in France.

"Poussy-Portrait a la bague et au bracelet,

1931" was sold for $9,000, a close-up portrait called "Accroche-coeur" fetched $10,300 and $11,400 was paid for a 12-by-8-inch sepia-toned photomontage "Poussy-composition aux trois visages." (This, despite the image having a fold near the top and a small tear at the bottom left.)
