Dr. Dre, Accountants Settle
Dr. Dre has settled a fraud and breach-of-contract lawsuit against accounting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers for an undisclosed sum.
In the suit?filed in 1997 in California Superior Court in L.A. ?the producer/rapper claimed that the firm mishandled his funds while he
was signed to Death Row Records, the label he founded with Marion "Suge" Knight. The suit addressed funds Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) alleged were due to him as a Death Row executive and royalties he claimed he never received in his capacity as an artist on the label.
