HMV U.K. Revamps Marketing Division
HMV U.K. & Ireland has restructured its marketing department following the resignation of senior marketing manager Cormac Loughran. Richard Orr has been promoted from marketing manager to the new role of head of marketing, and Cathy Kane has been upped from head of design and display to marketing
manager. Orr will oversee advertising and media, local marketing and PR, and special projects and events; Kane will head HMV promotions in addition to overseeing design and display functions. Both London-based appointees report to marketing director John Taylor.
