Investigators from the British Phonographic Industry on Monday assisted Metropolitan Police officers in an operation in Brixton, South London, that culminated in the arrest of one man. More than 500 allegedly counterfeit CD-R albums were confiscated during a raid at a market; a follow-up raid at the

suspect's home revealed additional suspect music product and a pistol. The man has been charged with offenses under the 1994 Trademarks Act and released on bail; he is to attend court later this week.
