Warner In Greece Appoints New MD
Panos Theofanellis has been named managing director of Warner Music Greece, effective Jan. 1. Based in Athens, Theofanellis succeeds Ion Stamboulis, who will exit Warner Dec. 31. Theofanellis?who was MD of BMG Greece?will report to Gero Caccia, president of Warner Music Greece/executive VP of Warner
Music Europe.
Theofanellis previously spent 12 years at Warner in marketing, A&R, and product-manager roles. He plans to focus on promoting domestic artists, distributing Greek music in Europe, and strengthening the local presence of international repertoire.
