Download retailer EMusic.com has made an equity investment in the Northwest Alliance of Independent Labels (NAIL), the Portland, Ore.-based independent distributor. Terms were not disclosed. The relationship between the two firms will facilitate the online distribution of product from NAIL's roster of
exclusive labels.
