Commotion Records--a new label started by former CBS Records chief Walter Yetnikoff and soundtrack veteran Tracy McKnight--is expected to release four to eight albums a year of independent film music, according to Bob Frank, president of Koch Entertainment, which will handle marketing and distribution.

The first Commotion album will be the soundtrack to "The Cooler," a new film starring Alec Baldwin and William H. Macy.

McKnight and Frank worked with Yetnikoff at the latter's Velvel Records, which Koch acquired in 1999.
