P.O.D. Set Has Bonus Playstation 2 Game
The first 1 million copies of P.O.D.'s album "Payable on Death," due Nov. 4 from Atlantic, will come with a bonus video-game disc. It will be the first-ever combined CD/Playstation 2 release, according to Atlantic and Sony Computer Entertainment America.
The bonus disc
has a version of the Playstation 2 music game "Amplitude" that allows users to remix the new, non-album P.O.D. song "Space." Using the controller, players can freestyle and scratch, re-creating the song in numerous ways.
The "Payable on Death" CD will also have enhanced elements: excerpts from the documentary "Inside P.O.D. Culture" and a key to unlock a Web site where fans can download a version of "Space."
The complete "Amplitude" game features 25 songs by the likes of Blink-182, David Bowie, Garbage, Weezer and Logan 7.
