Ex-Pimp 'Magic' Signs With Avatar
Bishop Don "Magic" Juan, the former pimp and current spiritual advisor to Snoop Dogg, has signed a "multimillion-dollar" recording deal with L.A.-based Avatar Records.
The first offering from the Chicago-based preacher, "Bishop Don 'Magic' Juan Presents: Green Is for
the Money, Gold Is for the Honies Vol. 1," will feature 12 tracks of "classics from old-school superstars and new music from today's biggest artists," according to the label. It will be accompanied by a DVD that gives insight into the "pimp game" from the Bishop himself. The project is tentatively scheduled for a spring 2004 release.
