Chesney's First TV Special To Air In November
Kenny Chesney will appear in his first network TV special when "Kenny Chesney: Somewhere In the Sun" airs on ABC Nov. 23. The one-hour special will intercut live concert footage from his show at Pittsburgh's Heinz Stadium with behind-the-scenes moments shot both on the road and at his home in the Caribbean.
Several as-yet-unnamed celebrity friends of Chesney's are also expected to appear in the special. It is scheduled to air from 8-9 p.m. (ET).
As reported earlier, ABC also recently snagged the rights to the CMA Music Awards and to a television special based on the CMA Music Festival.
