In the wake of Sony Pictures' purchase of MGM earlier this month, home video executives are taking on new roles.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, led by president Benjamin Feingold, will now handle marketing, sales and distribution of all Sony and MGM video titles.

Lexine Wong, SPHE executive VP of marketing, and Marshall Forster, executive VP of sales, will head new efforts for both studiosÕ catalog and new product.

MGM Home Entertainment will continue to exist but will largely operate as a product management division. Blake Thomas, formerly MGM's senior VP of marketing, has been appointed executive VP of home entertainment and will work closely with Feingold.

The role of David Bishop, who was president of MGM Home Entertainment prior to the acquisition, is not known.
