Recording Academy Names 2003 Honorees
Etta James, Johnny Mathis, Glenn Miller, Tito Puente, and Simon & Garfunkel will receive the 2003 lifetime achievement awards from the Recording Academy. The late engineer/producer Alan Lomax and the New York Philharmonic will be honored with Trustees Awards.
The
honors will be presented Feb. 22 in New York; highlights will be shown during the 45th annual Grammy Awards show the next night at Madison Square Garden. The Grammys will air live on CBS.
