More than 175 law-enforcement officers early yesterday served search warrants on the offices of Tha Row Records (formerly Death Row) and 16 other locations in Los Angeles County and Las Vegas, as part of an undisclosed murder investigation. Also searched was a residence believed to be formerly owned
by label founder and CEO Marion "Suge" Knight.
Five people were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and drug possession, including two at the label's headquarters. According to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's statement, Knight is not considered a suspect "at this time."
A spokesperson for Tha Row declined comment.
