Hard rock guitar slinger Ted Nugent will join country headliner Toby Keith for about 20 arena dates in the first quarter of 2005.
The pair first worked together on a USO tour last summer, according to T.K. Kimbrell, Kieth's manager. "Ted loves country music, and on
this USO tour, Toby's band backed him up and he had a ball," Kimbrell tells billboard.biz. "They're real compatible."
Nugent's own band will back him on the Keith tour.
Keith was one of the top-10 grossing acts on the road in 2004, raking in $44.3 million from 75 shows. He is also set to play the annual New Year's Eve bash at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center, along with Terri Clark and Dierks Bentley.
