MediaBay Inc., a specialist in spoken-audio content, has filed a copyright-infringement lawsuit against file-swapping service Audiogalaxy. The complaint, filed last month in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, claims that Audiogalaxy has enabled unauthorized trading of MediaBay-controlled

radio programs.

The RIAA, National Music Publishers' Assn., and Harry Fox Agency in June reached an out-of-court settlement on a similar copyright-infringement suit filed against Austin-based Audiogalaxy (Bulletin, June 18).
