Flemish singer Helmut Lotti has inked a new long-term recording deal with Capitol in Germany. The relationship has been expanded to include the U.K., France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East; Capitol already represented Lotti in Germany, Switzerland,
Austria, Scandinavia, and South Africa. In Belgium, Lotti remains signed to Universal.
The first album under the new deal was "My Tribute to the King," a collection of songs released this week to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death. A DVD video is being prepared for release in November.
Lotti has sold more than 9 million units worldwide, according to the label.
