Best Buy Lands 'Midnite Movies'
Best Buy will be offering yet another DVD exclusive.
In a deal with MGM Home Entertainment, the mass merchant will exclusively sell a dozen "Midnite Movies" double-feature titles. The line will be in stores Aug. 24.
The titles are
"Gas-s-s-s," "The Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow," "Ghost and the Invisible Bikini," "Hells Belles," "The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant," "Invasion of the Bee Girls," "Invasion of the Star Creatures," "The Land That Time Forgot," "Madhouse," "The Return of Count Yorga," "Tentacles" and "Wild in the Streets."
This deal follows an announcement earlier this week that Best Buy will offer the exclusive Elton John DVD "Dream Ticket" this fall. Last year, the chain was the exclusive retailer for the Rolling Stones' "Four Flicks."
